Sveti Vlas — the quiet, stylish end of the bay

Tucked between the Balkan foothills and the Black Sea, Sveti Vlas has kept the charm its bigger neighbour traded away: a working marina full of yachts, clean sand, seafront restaurants, and open-air shows on summer nights. Everything below is a short walk from the apartment.

Dinevi Marina

The largest yacht port on the Bulgarian coast, and the heart of Sveti Vlas. Wander the pontoons past superyachts, pick a waterfront table for dinner, or just take an evening promenade with an ice cream. It's the reason people call this place the St-Tropez of the Black Sea.

The Glamour Beach

Sveti Vlas' signature beach, right beside the marina — fine sand, calm shallow water, and a line of stylish beach bars. It faces south, so the sun stays late. Quieter than anything in Sunny Beach, but with all the comforts: loungers, umbrellas, and cocktails to your sunbed.

Arena Sveti Vlas

An open-air amphitheatre above the sea, with concerts, opera, ballet and folklore evenings running through the summer season. There are few better ways to end a beach day than a show under the stars with the bay behind the stage.

Old Nessebar

A UNESCO World Heritage old town on a tiny peninsula — Byzantine churches, wooden Revival houses, and cobbled lanes full of galleries and fish restaurants. Go for the evening light and stay for dinner on the water. You can also reach it by boat from the marina.

Sunny Beach

When you want the big-resort energy — an 8 km beach, water parks (Action Aquapark and Aqua Paradise are both nearby), amusement rides and nightlife. Great for a day out with kids; equally great to leave behind when you come home to the quiet side of the bay.

Further afield

Hike or drive into the Balkan foothills behind the town, taste local wine at a nearby winery, or head down the coast to Burgas for its sea garden and museums. Boat trips from the marina run along the bay all summer.

Getting here

By air

Fly to Burgas (BOJ) — about 35 km, a 25–35 minute drive. Direct flights from most UK and European cities in summer.

Transfers

We can recommend a trusted private transfer (ask when you book), or taxis and shuttle buses run from the airport all season.

On arrival

A hire car is handy for Nessebar, wineries and the coast road, with public parking nearby. In town, you won't need it: everything is walkable.
